Job Opportunities

We accept rolling applications for incoming teachers and workshop leaders. We welcome teachers based in any timezone but especially need teachers available in the afternoons in CST. We welcome teachers who specialize in young learners, adults, or even upper level subjects as well: mathematics, science, SAT tutoring, or test prep (MAPP, SSAT, ACT, SAT, TOEFL, or IELTS). 

If you have developed your own curriculum materials for short term workshops and are looking for more students, we are interested in working with you as well. Please send an inquiry about partnering.

All applying teachers must:

• Be dynamic and capable of building relationships with students via online platforms.
• Have a university degree.
• Have at least 2 years of classroom experience, preferably teaching a variety of age groups and levels from young learners through to adults. If you specialize in an age group, that's ok, just let us know.
• Be innovative.
• Have first-language level English (CELTA, DELTA, or TESOL qualified) OR Spanish (FPELE qualified)
• Be a positive role model for students.
• Be lifelong learners.
• Adept at use with instructional technology (including Zoom, Google Slides, and online textbooks).
• Integrate student’s use of higher-level thinking skills in the classroom.
• Have a collegial and collaborative approach to learning.
• Take an active role in their class planning. 
• Be organized, punctual, and responsible. 

Job Skills required:

• Planning, preparing and delivering high quality English or Spanish language teaching that meets the needs of different student groups, taking into account individual learning styles.

• Monitoring progress and providing regular feedback to help manage students’ performance throughout the course, and actively promote learner autonomy.

• Contributing to the development, evaluation, and improvement of language courses, materials and related services.

• Finishing administrative tasks in a timely and accurate manner (e.g. submitting weekly progress updates).

• Assisting in covering classes for colleagues.

• Safeguarding equality, diversity and inclusion.
