There are two options for Montessori math.
- FRACTIONS (M/W - 4:00-5:00 pm): In this course, students will understand the concept of a fraction, its graphical representation, as well as how to solve operations with fractions. The student will achieve this knowledge using specific material that the guide will provide electronically, to print and thus be able to continue working outside of class. You will also be faced with situations in everyday life, where you will learn to solve operations with fractions.
- DECIMALS (T/Th - 4:00-5:00 pm): In this course, students will understand the concept of a decimal, as part of a whole, they will learn to read decimal quantities to later use them in operations. You will face situations in everyday life, in which you will learn to solve problems with decimals. The guide will provide them electronically with the specific material, which they can print, to support themselves and continue working outside of class.
All times are CST. Minimum of three students to open a class.
The registration fee is $5 USD (~$100 MXN), which will be credited to your account for classes.
Each class is $10 USD, billable by Paypal.
A native of Mexico City, Miss Angie has 13 years of experience with upper elementary children using the Montessori method. She believes that Montessori teaching has advantages in that it is more interesting for students, which makes the learning process easier.
